Turtle Watching Tour – Pacific Green Sea Turtles
Join us for an unforgettable Turtle Watching Tour to witness one of nature’s most incredible spectacles: the nesting of the Pacific Green Sea Turtle, the second-largest sea turtle in the world (after the Leatherback).
This tour runs from October through April, when these majestic creatures return to the shores to lay their eggs. We visit a secluded beach north of Tamarindo, in the Matapalo de Santa Cruz area, home to six nesting beaches — five with public access and one private.
Spend approximately 40 minutes at the beach, immersed in the beauty of this natural event. The entire experience lasts about 3 hours, depending on the nesting process you observe (arrival, nesting, or egg-laying).
